WaHa Inc. manufactures the WaHa Vaporator, a sealed latent-heat-recovery engine that produces pure water from air and dry air from the same energy input. Oasis machines are named for daily water output in liters. The line runs from the Oasis-5 (5 liters per day) to the Oasis-1000 (1,000 liters per day). Every Oasis-24 holds 24 liters per day across 7% to 90% relative humidity and −20 °C to 55 °C, down to approximately 1.5 to 2 grams of water per kilogram of air. Two Oasis-24 configurations are open for pre-order, with delivery expected in September 2027: the Integrated, for point-of-use dispensing, and the Outdoor, for a tank or a line. Larger Oasis machines are specified to the site.

The WaHa Vaporator® works where others will not

Condenser atmospheric water generators need 40–60% RH. The WaHa Vaporator® holds rated output at 7% RH. That is not a better condenser. It is a different category of machine.

Air passes over a desiccant wheel using a novel solid desiccant: a MOF. Moisture comes off the wheel, condenses inside a sealed chamber, and leaves as liquid water. The air that exits is dry. There is no regeneration exhaust to vent, so the machine does not need a hole in the wall.

What every machine includes

It works where the water problem is.

7% to 90% RH, −20 °C to 55 °C on the Oasis-24. Rated output holds down to about 1.5–2 g/kg. That covers 99.9% of water-stressed land. Condenser AWGs do not.

The water is clean before anything filters it.

Distilled-grade. No PFAS, no microplastics, no heavy metals, no VOCs, no bacteria. It condenses inside a sealed chamber, isolated from the ambient air stream. That is not the same as filtering contaminants out afterward. Independently tested against US EPA, UAE.S 149, and GSO 149 drinking-water standards. NSF, UL, and CE certifications are in progress. None of them are finished, and we will say so until they are.

If you came for the inexpensive dry air

The same event that fills the tank dries the air. In a conventional silica gel wheel dehumidifier, the wheel is regenerated with a gas burner or a resistance element. Neither gives you more than one unit of heat per unit of energy you bought, and that heat is exhausted. A WaHa Vaporator® moves heat with the thermodynamic engine, regenerates at low temperature, and returns the heat of condensation to the loop.

70 to 90 percent less energy than silica gel wheel-based dehumidifiers, machine against machine, for the same moisture removed. That figure does not count the cooling you stop paying for downstream, and it does not count the water.

Where it is specified: cold storage, clean dry rooms, low-dew-point dry rooms, pharmaceutical humidity control, data centers, and greenhouses in dry country.

What can I buy right now?

The Oasis-24 Integrated and Oasis-24 Outdoor are open for pre-order, with delivery expected in September 2027. Other units are built to suit.

How does the Oasis-24 pre-order work?

A 20% deposit holds the price: $780 on the Integrated ($3,900) and $600 on the Outdoor ($3,000). The balance is due before shipment. Shipping is not included. Cancel before WaHa issues a Production Commencement Notice and the deposit is refunded in full. If WaHa cannot fulfill the order, the deposit is refunded in full.

Do I have to choose between water and inexpensive dry air?

No. There is no switch. Drying the air and making the water are the same event. Moisture leaves the air and has to go somewhere. In a WaHa machine it goes into a tank instead of out a duct.

How much less energy is it than a conventional dehumidifier?

70 to 90 percent less than silica gel wheel-based dehumidifiers, machine against machine, for the same moisture removed. Legacy machines heat the wheel with a burner or a resistance element and get no coefficient of performance from either. A WaHa Vaporator® moves heat with a thermodynamic engine, regenerates at low temperature, and returns the heat of condensation to the process.

Does it need an exhaust duct?

No. Moisture leaves as liquid water, so there is no regeneration air stream to vent. Optional duct connections on the Oasis-24 Outdoor are only for directing the dry air.

Will it work where I live?

If the air is at or above about 1.5–2 g/kg (roughly 7% RH) and you have power, yes. That covers a majority of water-stressed land. Check the map on Where it works.
