Does it hold up outside a lab?

Independent testing at the Arizona Atmospheric Water Harvesting testbed at Arizona State University measured the Oasis-24 delivering its full rated 24 liters a day. That's the rated number, measured by people who don't work for us.

Monitored pilot machines in the UAE and Sweden have logged 99.999% measured uptime.

Will it work where I live?

We publish where the WaHa Vaporator® meets a utility-grade standard and where it doesn't, using four years of global climate data. By that standard it covers 70.5% of global land, against 7.0% for compressor-based machines.

What happens after you reserve

Reserving locks your price and holds your place in the first production run. The sequence from here:

  • Today. You place a deposit. Nothing else is due.
  • Before we build. You go through onboarding, where you confirm your location, your configuration, and how you'll pay the balance. We give you at least 14 days' written notice before your unit enters production.
  • September 2027. Anticipated delivery of the first units.

Your deposit stays fully refundable at any point before we start building your unit, and refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. If we change the published specifications materially, you get at least 30 days to cancel for a full refund. If the schedule slips, that refund window just gets longer.

Questions people ask before reserving

Is my deposit refundable?

Yes, in full, any time before we start manufacturing your unit. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. To cancel, email sales@wahainc.com.

What if it doesn't make as much water as you say where I am?

Check before you order. The Where It Works tool publishes month-by-month production reliability for your location against a utility-grade standard, and it publishes the places the WaHa Vaporator® falls short as readily as the places it succeeds.

What does it cost to run?

The Oasis-24 uses 0.4 to 0.75 kWh per liter produced, so your electricity cost depends on your tariff and on how warm and humid the air is. At a full 24 liters a day that's roughly 10 to 18 kWh, and you only pay for the water you actually make.

Do I need plumbing or special electrical work?

Neither model touches your water main. Both need a 208-230V supply. The Integrated needs nothing else. The Outdoor needs somewhere for the water to go, either your own tank or a WaHa Dispenser up to 40 feet away.

Is the water safe to drink?

Both models make distilled-grade water with no PFAS, no microplastics, no heavy metals, no VOCs, and no bacteria, independently tested against US EPA, UAE.S 149, and GSO 149 drinking water standards. NSF, UL, and CE certifications are in progress. The Integrated mineralizes it for drinking as it pours; water from the Outdoor needs mineralizing first.

What warranty comes with it?

Two years from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. If we can't repair or replace a unit within 60 days of a valid claim, we refund the price of that unit.

Who is WaHa?

An atmospheric water generation company with offices in Silicon Valley and the UAE, originally co-founded by Professor Omar Yaghi (formerly of UC Berkeley), who was awarded with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. The Oasis-24 is our first commercial product.
