We are thrilled to announce an exciting new cooperation between the Arizona Atmospheric Water Harvesting (AzAWH) testbed at Arizona State University and WaHa!
☀️At AzAWH, our mission is to accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative water vapor harvesting technologies. By joining forces with WaHa—a pioneer in atmospheric water generation—we are taking a major leap toward a more sustainable and water-secure future.
💧We are proud to share that we have officially received and integrated WaHa’s advanced atmospheric water generation unit, the WaHa Vaporator®, into our testbed facility. The performance results of this MOF-based unit have been nothing short of impressive:
🌵 In arid conditions: at just 18% relative humidity, the unit delivered its full specified output of 24 liters of water per day. That is the production the Vaporator® is rated to meet, not a reduced figure, and the Vaporator® is rated to operate in air as dry as 7% relative humidity.
This collaboration allows us to rigorously test this machine in real-world environments, ensuring that clean and sustainable water is accessible anywhere, even in the harshest desert climates.
👉Together, AzAWH and WaHa are transforming how we harness the air around us to solve one of society’s most critical challenges: water scarcity.
Stay tuned as we continue to push the boundaries of atmospheric water harvesting technology!
