Sales & Support

Dicode Technologies is our partner in the UAE. With an established presence in the UAE and throughout the GCC, Dicode will enable WaHa to have an in-person presence in this critical market.
DewStand is a leading manufacturer of AWG products, but reached out to WaHa to license the WaHa Vaporator® so they could reach markets in Saudi Arabia and SE Asia where traditional AWG products would not work.

Engineering

Czero is a specialized boutique engineering firm that is working with WaHa to model machine performance.
Synapse is a large engineering design firm with experience developing mechanical refrigeration-based industrial products. Synapse is working with WaHa to productize WaHa’s design for commercial release.

Air Conditioning

The US Department of Energy Building Technologies Office (BTO) and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBL) have signed a CRADA (collaborative research and development agreement) with WaHa to optimize the design of the WaHa Vaporator® for the HVAC market as well as select initial market(s) for the air conditioner product.

Dehumidification Efficiency

UC Davis professor Shamim Ahamed, is a member of the WaHa Technical Advisory Board. With funding from CalNEXT, Professor Ahamed will be measuring the performance of the WaHa Vaporator® in one of their controlled environment agriculture (CEA) test chambers.
CalNEXT is a statewide initiative to identify, test, and grow electric technologies and delivery methods to support California’s decarbonized future.
Etanomics specializes in energy optimization and the development of holistic energy concepts. They are working with WaHa to validate our energy efficiency savings in our key customer markets.

Academia

The University of California at Berkeley is the home of WaHa’s visionary founder, Professor Omar Yaghi. In addition, WaHa has exclusive licenses to several MOFs, including MOF-303, and other water harvesting IP. WaHa’s lead technologists, our CTO, Eugene Kapustin, and our EVP, Engineering, David Kuo, both received their PhDs from Berkeley.
Khalifa University brings significant value to WaHa through its advanced materials research expertise and rigorous testing capabilities in the UAE’s challenging climate. The university has validated the WaHa Vaporator’s® impressive performance, achieving 100% uptime and 99.9% reliability while enhancing energy efficiency and water production. This collaboration aligns with UAE’s sustainability goals, providing WaHa with credibility and regional recognition. Khalifa University’s involvement also opens doors for further technological advancements and energy efficiency, accelerating WaHa’s development and implementation of AWG technology in the Middle East.
OST, the world leading university in heat pump technology, has been working with WaHa to develop a comprehensive heat-pump desorption system model. The approach involves creating a detailed MOF transient model, validating it against experimental data, simplifying it to a 0-d model, and integrating it into a full system simulation.

These global chemical companies are each supplying different MOF powders that are a key component of the WaHa Vaporator®.

Sorbent Coating

WaHa has developed and patented advanced coating formulations for metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and solid sorbents, optimizing their application for enhanced performance. To scale and commercialize this technology, WaHa partners with specialized coating companies to efficiently apply these sorbents onto various substrates. This collaboration accelerates the deployment of WaHa’s sorbent technologies across industries, expanding the reach of its desiccant regeneration engine, the WaHa Vaporator®️.
